Meet Dr. Milhalakis
Dr. Mary Beth Mihalakis, a native of Bethlehem, received her B.A. in Economics from Franklin and Marshall College in 1989. Following graduation she worked as a commercial lender for PNC Bank, Philadelphia. After completing the training program and working as a lending officer for two years, she decided to pursue a career in dentistry. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1996. Upon graduation, Dr. Mihalakis completed a one-year dental residency at Lehigh Valley Hospital. She is a member of the American Dental Association, Pennsylvania Dental Association, Second District Dental Association of Pennsylvania, and the Lehigh Valley Dental Society. Dr. Mihalakis is a member of the attending staff at the Lehigh Valley Health Network and is enrolled in the continuing education program.
Dr. Mihalakis resides in East Allen Township with her husband Alexander and their children Annie and Jamie. She loves being a Mom and spending time with her family.
Cindy Price ~ Registered Dental Hygienist
Cindy began her dental career in the U.S. Army in 1974. She graduated from NCC with an A.A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene and a certificate in expanded dental functions. Cindy started in our practice in 1989 and is CPR certified. Her interests include cooking, aerobics, nutrition, soccer and teaching Sunday School. She is on the committee for the L.V. Oral Cancer Foundation walk. She resides in Easton with her husband, David and has two sons, Max and Karch.
Kathy Ruyak ~ Registered Dental Hygienist
Kathy has been in the dental profession since 1973. She graduated from NCC with an A.A.S. Degree in Dental Hygiene. Prior to her dental hygiene career, she was employed as a dental assistant in general dental offices. Kathy joined our practice in 1987 and is CPR certified. She resides in Bethlehem Township with her husband, Douglas. Her daughter Meghad is married and also a Dental Hygienist. Kathy enjoys running in her leisure time.
Laura Benak ~ Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Hygienist
Laura is a graduate of Freedom High School and has been in the dental field since 1989 as a certified dental assistant. She went on to Hygiene school at NCC graduating in 2007, earning an A.A.D. Degree and the golden scaler award. She joined our practice in 1992 and is CPR certified. Laura and her husband, Tom reside in Bethlehem Township with their two sons, Thomas and Joshua. Her hobbies include, camping, walking and spending time with her family.
Lisa Burcin ~ Certified Dental Assistant
Lisa, a life long Bethlehem resident, graduated from Liberty High School in 1978 and became a certified dental assistant in 1980. In addition, Lisa holds a certificate as an Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary. Lisa has been active in the Valley Forge Dental Conference since 1988, and regularly attends continuing education courses. She joined our practice in 2012 and is CPR certified. She is our office OSHA, Infection Control and Inventory Coordinator. Lisa loves to spend time with her husband, Gregg and her two sons, Christopher and Eric and her dog Toby. She also enjoys gardening, knitting, and going to the beach.
Cindy ~ Financial Coordinator
Cindy has been in dentistry since 1987. She worked as an Office Manager, Dental Assistant and is currently our Financial Coordinator. She joined our team in 2007 and is CPR certified. She enjoys helping people, spending time at the shore with family and friends, and loves traveling. Cindy is married to her husband, Scott and has a son Keith and daughter Logan.
Darlene ~ Scheduling Coordinator
Darlene, our Scheduling Coordinator, graduated in 1979 from college, working in the dental field since 1979. She joined our dental team in 2011 and is CPR certified. Darlene and her husband, David have a son, Robert. She loves baking goodies, making crafts and gardening in her yard. Outside of work, she enjoys boating with her family and dog on the Chesapeake in Maryland.
