New Patient & Financial Information
Your initial appointment will consist of a review of your medical and dental history, a full mouth examination, an oral cancer screening, a complete series of x-rays and necessary photographs. A cleaning (prophylaxis) will also be completed if there are no periodontal (gum) problems diagnosed. For more complex treatment plans, at a second visit, Dr. Mihalakis will review with you her diagnostic findings, treatment options and convenient financial options.
Please assist us by providing the following information at the time of your consultation:
- Any current x-rays if available
- A list of your current medical prescriptions
- Any need for antibiotic prior to dental treatment
If there are any questions regarding pre-medication, please contact our office. This will also be covered when we review your medical history.
Appointments
We see all patients on an appointment basis. We make every effort to honor all commitments and request that you extend the same courtesy to us by calling in advance to reschedule or cancel appointments. On occasion emergencies can cause delays in the office. Whenever possible, we try to inform you if there will be delays, so please provide us with your cell phone number.
Emergencies
We realize that you can have an emergency situation arise at any time and we will do our best to accommodate you. In the event of an emergency, call the office immediately. If you call during office hours, we will do our best to see you on the same day. If you call after office hours, listen to the answering machine message which will give you the cell phone numbers of both doctors. Please feel free to call if there is an emergency involving bleeding, swelling or severe pain. We are never more than a phone call away!
Financial Arrangements
INSURANCE AND BILLING
Our office will prepare and submit all insurance claims for you. We do not participate in any dental plans, simply because we do not want treatment compromised by any plan unresonably discounting our services and treatment plans. WE WANT THE BEST FOR YOU!
Fees
We accept checks, cash and credit careds. Senior Citizen Discounts and Pre-Payment Courtesy Discounts may apply, please ask for details. We also offer a flexible payment plan for large cases. Please speak with Cindy, our Financial Coordinator for details. We also offer in-office interest free financing through CareCredit. (see below)

We can offer No Interest* financing for large cases or low minimum monthly payment options for smaller cases, so you can received the treatment you need and require. Cindy, our Financial Coordinator will apply for you, using an instant approval process, as our office courtesy. After you are approved, you're free to use CareCredit for any dental services you choose: dental implants, crown work, orthodontic treatment, etc.
